At Tin Woof! Inn Pet Retreat we believe in a confident, happy dog. We think our pet parents do too! Our Day Camp offers an enriching socialization opportunity to help your dog grow in their confidence.

We offer social play sessions in pups comfortable with other dogs, as well as one on one play sessions (with our staff) with dogs who would rather adventure on their own.

Why do we offer Doggie Day Camp? Because socialization is crucial to a dog’s development. It helps to build confidence in the outside world in a positive way. It also helps with communication skills and creates proper play etiquette. Regular interactions with other dogs and having a trained staff member to oversee the play, will help to contribute to a well socialized and outgoing dog.

Reservations for Day Camp are highly recommended, as space can get limited, especially at peak times. Walk Ins may be turned away due to space limitations.

Dogs should be dropped off between 7:30-9:30 a.m. to ensure they are included in morning activities. Day Camp dogs should be picked up 30 minutes prior to closing.

What if you can’t pick up your dog before closing? Sometimes that happens!

We will try to contact you as a reminder. If for some reason we do not hear from you, no worries! We are happy to bed down your dog for the night and you can pick up your dog the next morning. Everyone will be safe and comfortable in the building! As an alternative make sure someone is available to pick up your dog in your absence. We are sorry for any inconveniences it may cause, but our staff are not permitted to stay after close.

Cancelling your Day Camp reservations

If you have a reservation and need to cancel, please call our facility 24 hours prior to your scheduled reservation. There is a charge to your Day Camp package or credit card (for one day per dog) if we consider you as a no-show.

A Day Camp Package is the perfect way to handle your pet’s Day Camp charges and receive a discount:

• 5 Day Package — $155

• 10 Day Package — $300

• 15 Day Package — $435

• Double Dog Package (2 dogs in the same lodge) — $300

Pet Health Guarantee

Your pet’s health is always our #1 priority. With that in mind, we have created our Pet Health Guarantee program for clients that choose to participate. The program covers the cost of unexpected illness or injury while your pet is staying with us up to $400 per stay/Day Camp package. For our lodging guests; the Pet Health Guarantee is only valid for one stay of 14 days of lodging or less If you’d like to have your pet covered for longer than 14 days due to your reservation being longer, then you must renew this by the 14^th day of your reservation. This program excludes pre-existing conditions, breed specific conditions, illness due to expired vaccinations, and bloat. Claims must be reported to TWI Pet Retreat management within 48 hours of check out and pet must be seen by our designated facility veterinarian — Frankfort Animal Clinic. This program is included in our Gold Package or purchased for $15 per stay, per dog. In addition, this program can be attached to Day Camp packages.
