At Tin Woof Inn Canine Academy, our training programs work towards satisfying the goals and benchmarks set for by the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy and Canine Good Citizen tests. We’ve structured our format and instructional techniques to help you and your dog learn and grow together and to effectively check the boxes of what it means to be a good canine-human team in the community.

About The AKC & AKC CGC™

The American Kennel Club was founded in 1884 and is the largest and oldest not-for-profit organization and trusted expert in regards to canine breeds, health, and training. They are active advocates for “all things dog”.

The AKC Canine Good Citizen™ (CGC) program provides a well-rounded foundation and framework for training your dog to become a polite member of society. This program is intended to help dogs be the best versions of themselves and humans be the best owners possible.
Through AKC guidelines, we teach good manners, a calm and polite state of being, and responsible ownership to, ultimately, help you and your dog become the best team you can be.
