PIN Program

We take seriously our commitment to the pet industry.  We serve as a foster location for Australian Shepherd rescue.  We have started a Pets In Need (P.I.N.) Program where we will donate $1 for each day your pet is in boarding to STAR and the Rowan County Animal Shelter.

STAR

STAR, Saving the Animals of Rowan, is a 501c3 organization committed to improving the conditions for the abandoned dogs of Rowan County, KY. Its members work to find safe and loving homes for dogs that find themselves in the Rowan County Canine Shelter. STAR members are dedicated to reducing the number of dogs euthanized due to the overcrowded conditions of this rural shelter. We have a limited number of foster homes and we need more. Please consider providing a temporary home for a puppy or dog that is up for adoption. Please visit our Petfinder website.

Rowan County Animal Shelter

Tin Woof Inn works with the Rowan County Animal Shelter and Animal Control officials to find homes for adoptable pets.

Pet Therapy Work

Two of our Aussies, Midi and Catcher, are Certified Pet Therapy Dogs through the Love on a Leash program.  Gale regularly visits the Owingsville Ridgeway and Hilltop nursing care centers and the Lifecare Center located here in Morehead.
