Boarding We want your pet to have a great experience and you to have a worry free trip. We provide the information below to make the check-in process go smoothly and to answer most of the questions we normally get. Before Arriving Please click here and read our client boarding information sheet before arriving! The sheet contains valuable information about our boarding requirements including needed vaccinations, food, feeding times, emergency numbers, drop off and pick up, toys, your pet's bedding, and their expected daily routine. As a general rule we require:
Special Needs Our boarding facility is divided into a main kennel area and an annex. The annex was designed to board older dogs, puppies or dogs who may not be used to a boarding environment. The annex has the same sized runs as the main kennel, but it is smaller and more intimate and generally more quiet. Long Term Boarding Program If you need to board your pet for longer than 1 month, please ask about our Long Term Boarding Program. We offer attractive discounts, payment plans and can provide other services that your pet may need when left for an extended period of time. Reservations We encourage customers to make a reservation. This insures there will be room for your pet and gives us an opportunity to work with you make sure that everything (shot records etc.) is in order for your pet’s stay. We are often full on weekends, especially around 3 day weekends), holidays and during the summer (June to August). It is imperative that you have a reservation for Thanksgiving and Christmas as we are always full. When we are full, we can often accommodate your pet in a crate, so please ask about this option if you need it. Hours of Operation We have tried to make ourselves available when you are available, and manage costs. We are open early in the morning and later in the evening, 7 days a week…..'cause that is when people leave for vacation and come home from trips to grandma’s. We do not open the facility during the middle of the day, when you are at work and the dogs are napping. We recognize that travel schedules don't always coincide with our normal hours. When possible we will try to coordinate a mutually agreeable alternative time for you to pick up your pet. It is very critical that you arrive at our facility at the agreed time. If you are late it is highly unlikely you will be able to get your pet. We will have to make special arrangements to accommodate an appointment and we too have other commitments. Cell phones are a wonderful invention so we encourage you to call if you will be late or need to make other arrangements. Please note: At the current time, we only accept checks and cash for payment. Payment is due when you pick up your pet. |
